Sustainability
At KCP, sustainability is not just a companywide culture – it’s our way of life. We have always been committed, conscious and responsible to the society – our deep-rooted commitment to social values have always focused on the environment and in building a community. For decades, our healthcare, infrastructural, environmental, social, cultural and educational initiatives have been touching the lives of all our communities positively. Over the years, a few aspects in our brand ethos have remained the same and it has always centered around providing a safe, secure and environment-friendly society.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts have traditionally focused on creating innovative new solutions and reworking the existing CSR framework for inclusive growth while not losing sight of our core values, ethics and practices. The current direction of our CSR activity has been geared towards sustainability and alignment to our business objectives.
At KCP, we believe that we have an active role to play in the sustainable empowerment of communities in the areas of Education, Healthcare & Infrastructure.
Education
KCP has over the years funded, established and managed various educational institutions. Some of these institutions are mentioned below :
- Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
- Velagapudi Durgamba Law College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
- KCP Adarsh Siddhartha Public School, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
The above are funded institutions, which are being currently managed by the Siddhartha Education Academy, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
- V. Ramakrishna High School Tiruvottiyur, Chennai.
- V. Ramakrishna Polytechnic, Tiruvottiyur, Chennai
- Kids Patasala, Macherla, Andhra Pradesh
The above institutions are established, funded and currently managed by the KCP.
Health Care
As a company, KCP has been supporting a plethora of health initiatives by organizing health camps to offer curative services and raising awareness on health issues. In addition, they have also been providing infrastructural and medical equipment to hospitals and health centres, as well as engaging in the renovation of hospital buildings and the construction of new healthcare centres.

- Share Hospitals, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh
- Polio Rehabilitation Centre & Eye Hospital in Vuyyuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh
- V. Ramakrishna Block at the Eye Vision Centre in Macherla
- A 10-bedded hospital with a ‘round the clock service’ ambulance for the Muktyala village.
Infrastructure
KCP, as a company, cares deeply for the improvement and development of community infrastructure. Over the years, a few diverse infrastructure activities have been implemented, and the KCP team has considerately contributed their expertise, knowledge and skill sets at various locations in Andhra Pradesh.
Drinking Water RO Plant:
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water plants have been installed in various places like Terala village, Macherla Town, Muktyala Village, Mangolla village and Mandadi in Andhra Pradesh.
Water Pipelines:
Drinking Drinking water pipelines have been laid in various locations in the Macherla and Muktyala villages in Andhra Pradesh.
Sewage Treatment:
The company did work for a drainage work setup for the 13th ward of Macherla in Andhra Pradesh.
Sanitation Infrastructure:
KCP has supported the Smart Village Program by way of distribution of cement and bricks to the beneficiaries for construction of toilets in Muktyala Village in 2015. This activity is unique as it has motivated the villagers to opt for complete sanitation and eradicate the concept of open defecation.
Roads & Buildings:
The company contributed extensively towards the laying of roads, especially to ease the congestion on the Vijayawada – Machilipatnam highway.
Smart Village Project:
In 2014, KCP adopted the Muktyala Village, Jaggayyapeta Mandal, Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh to make it an Integrated Smart Village. Various activities in the village have been initiated towards this goal. Some of these activities are:
- The Swachh Bharat Program in the village and its schools
- Construction of toilets
- Adult Literacy Programmes
- Women Self-Employment
- Green Village Programmes
- Donation of Concrete Bricks
Skill Development
In KCP we believe not only in enhancing the construction industry of the country, but also supporting the diverse population in houses. Every employee at KCP is valued beyond measure, so are their families. As initiatives taken by the management, KCP currently engages in a variety of activities that support, empower and uplift several communities
